Queensland State Comp

The Queensland Rugby League began experimenting with a statewide competition in the 1980s. Originating as the Winfield State League, the league oscillated between representative and club teams, and sometimes a mix of them, played in parallel to the BRL. Eventually the club-only Queensland Cup was founded in 1996 to provide a reserve grade competition. This collection features the famous Q-logo used by clubs in the 1980s and 1990s by some of the regional teams.
